Lunchtime Clubs

At our best, we acknowledge Bethany to be  a community where we can learn a way of living that is whole and intelligent.

At Bethany we acknowledge the impact of wellbeing. Children are provided with choices and at any time may access teaching facilitators and spaces to best meet their needs. Our lunchtime clubs reflect our vision of collaboration and personalisation of academics to student's recreactional pursuits.  To this end we offer a variety of lunch time clubs for all levels in the school which provides alternatives to outside play on given days.

Chess Club

Chess Club is an inside play alternative for students in the Bridging and Leadership centres.  It provides an exciting opportunity for students to learn the strategic game of chess which is one of the most powerful educational tools available to strengthen a child’s mind!

Drawing Club

A wide range of drawing skills, styles, mediums and ideas are being explored in Bethany's lunchtime drawing club which is available to students from the Bridging Centre. Students have the choice to work indiviually or in groups on their drawing projects.

Gizmos and Gadgets

Twice a week students from Years 2 to 6 are offered the opportunity to spend their lunchtime with their friends using the schools ipads and latop computers to play games, make or watch iMovies or develop their creative skills using apps such as Lego Design.

Buddy Club

Once a week students from our Exploration and Leadership Centres have the opportunity to come together to participate in a variety of activities, ranging from drawing, building, playing games, reading together and many other fun activities.  Our school leaders and Foundation students, both equally love the opportunities that this club provides them.
