Community Mass

At Bethany we gather as a community of faith to be spiritually nourished by the Eucharist. We are sent forth with the challenge to be a vibrant Catholic Community nourished by Christ, celebrating the diversity and giftedness of all God’s People.

In addition to the parish masses at St. Andrew’s Church, the Bethany Faith Community celebtrates Eucharist in the school hall at 10 am on various dates throughout the year.

As Leaders of our school our Year 6 students are ‘Called to Serve’.  At our community masses they are present to welcome, usher and participate in the mass. Whilst at different masses throughout the year students across all levels in the school help us to celebrate different events through liturgy.

At each community mass the music is provided by one of they many choirs that make up our Parish community.  In 2019 this has included the Filipino Choir, Leadership Choir and Year 2 Choir.

At the conclusion of mass, families are invited to join together for morning tea.

The Bethany Community Mass is an ideal place to gather as a family and remind your child that faith, prayer and community are aspects of life that really matter to us. For children preparing to recieve sacraments it is important for them to experience their faith community gathered in prayer.

We extend the invitation to the community of Bethany to join us at these celebrations of the Eucharist.
